Chartmetric Launches Flow Ai Agent Starting at $60 a Month

The music data company is pitching Flow as a working tool for strategy, reporting and automation, not a generic chatbot.

Chartmetric has launched Flow, an AI agent built to sit inside its data platform and handle the kind of analysis music teams usually piece together by hand. The company is pricing the standalone version at $60 a month, with Flow Lite bundled into Premium and the full product included in Ultra.

Chartmetric is selling Flow as a working tool, not a chatbot

Founder and CEO Sung Cho was blunt about the positioning. Flow, he said, is “not just another AI chatbot.” The pitch is that it can untangle complex analysis, explain how and why audiences are engaging with an artist, and turn that into something a label, publisher or manager can use.

Chartmetric says Flow can generate weekly reports for priority releases, build multi-phase marketing plans and monitor millions of tracks across every major service. It combines existing AI models with Chartmetric’s own datasets and proprietary technology, drawing on trillions of data points to produce analysis and recommendations.

Cho said the product was designed to make Chartmetric’s data easier to consume and to give users a way to ask bespoke questions in plain language. “Our motivation to develop Flow was to deliver on that promise of self-service analytics and put that power in the hands of the most curious and creative people in the music industry to have a virtual data analyst,” he said.

Pricing and access are built into Chartmetric’s tiers

Premium subscribers get Flow Lite as part of the $150-per-month package. The full Flow offering is included in Chartmetric’s $180-per-month Ultra package. Flow is also available as a standalone subscription for $60 per month.

Chartmetric subscribers on the Premium tier receive 20 monthly Flow AI credits. Ultra and standalone subscribers get 100 monthly credits. Additional credits can be purchased as top-ups. All dashboard tiers include a seven-day trial, with Flow AI credits capped at 10 during the trial period before the full monthly allowance kicks in.

Cho said more than 4,000 users have already used the Flow app to answer questions that used to take a full research session, including who an artist’s audience actually is, what is driving a spike or drop, and how an act stacks up against peers across platforms.

Two years in development, with automation built in

Akash Mukerjee, Chartmetric’s chief product officer, said the company had been developing Flow for the last two years and plans to keep improving it. He described it as part of a user’s team, “performing tasks, scheduling, automating, and working in the background as a thinking partner.”

Chartmetric says Flow can do more than answer questions. It can surface growth opportunities, generate recommendations and handle action-based tasks such as creating alerts and shortlists, all from written prompts.

The launch comes after Chartmetric was among the first music data companies to roll out an MCP server earlier this year. MCP access is now included across every subscription plan.

For a sector that already leans hard on dashboards, filters and spreadsheets, Chartmetric is making a familiar argument: the value is no longer just in collecting the data. It is in getting to the answer faster, and in a form teams can actually use.
